After the tool has been removed from the oil well, the cap is removed and the tool is connected to the computer via a standard 9-pin RS232 serial computer cable. The download program, SNDT Field, is loaded and the raw data downloaded and saved.

The supplied software is easy to use. A demonstration training session can be arranged at Red Deer for employees who wish to assess the practicality of downloading the data in the field. Support for the software can be obtained by e-mail or telephone. Raw data can also be e-mailed to us for processing; the processed data would then be returned by e-mail. Additionally, tools can be returned to Red Deer for downloading, data processing, data reporting and maintenance.
